Born in Gibraltar, Europe, is bilingual and bicultural in Spanish and English. She currently lives in Carlsbad, California, where she made her home in 2003 after immigrating to the United States in 1983. Her husband, Jacob, has shared her life for thirty-nine years. They have an adult daughter and son who also reside in California. Being a mother and wife has been the first priority in her life.
