Sometimes love comes with a price
When we apprise how much it’s worth to us
If we contend with it’s reprisals and needed whims
Perhaps we shall realize that we want it evermore
And we need it more than we can really fathom
Be sure to receive it with grace
As it’s possible to dispel it with anger
Because we wish love to come as we wish
But it’s for the giver to give as needed
Needed for whom?
Maybe needed for the giver to have his fill
Does this mean we ought not to receive it?
I say, allow love to flow from within
In any shape or form
As if we resist, it shall persist
And when we do accept
Please know it is for our good
Instead us denying it’s worth
Love, Love, Love.
